If you are looking for an AMAZING, authentic and gourmet fish sandwich The Fish Monger in Surfside is a fantastic best kept secret of mine (Not for long.). This place used to be on Forestbrook Road and ran by a man named Lee, now Lee reopened in Surfside and brought in Chef Louie. Trained by Le Cordon Bleu Louie takes the freshest seafood and accentuates its natural goodness for the greatest Po'Boy sandwiches I've ever had.
I loved this place when it was just a fish market and now you have a menu of Crab cakes, Dips and remoulade's and of course the Po' Boy's. If you have to ask what a Po' Boy is then you just need to shut up and try it. Ask no questions.
You instantly feel like part of the family when you walk in and you will not be disappointed with any choice of seafood.
